Kotoko took the lead in the 24th minute but a controversial penalty awarded the Phobians by Referee William Agbovi in the 90th minute ensured the equaliser for the homesters.
Kotoko beat Hearts 2-0 in the first leg which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi last Monday.
The two matches were organised by the leadership of the two most celebrated Premier League clubs in Ghana to prepare them towards next season’s First Capital Plus league and also raise funds.
