Hearts prepare against Dwarfs minus Samudeen
Accra Hearts of Oak’s preparation for their crunch game in Cape Coast on Sunday against Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs was switched into a top gear last Sunday at the Ajax Park at Legon.
But the gruelling work-out was without their midfield talent, Samudeen Ibrahim, who emerged the star performer in their 1-0 conquest of New Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium a fortnight ago.
For the entire duration of the drill under the direction of Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi, the youngster watched from the sidelines with ice pack wrapped around his right foot.
He told the Graphic Sports that he had a scan on the foot which sustained the injury in the Phobians clash with Edubiase.
‘I’m hoping for a full recovery soon to return to the pitch”, he added.
Hearts team manager, Sarbhn Quaye, was cautious about the clubs recent successes in the Premier League saying, ‘there is still work to be done. Fortunately morale is very high among the players and that is all we need’.
