Oly exit MTN FA Cup

Accra Great Olympics were bundled out of this season’s MTN FA Cup last Saturday after losing 2-3 to Danbort in their thrilling local derby at Nungua.

Okwahu United, thrashed Istanbul 4-2 at Nkawkaw last Sunday to advance to the round of 64. The Soccer Mountaineers started strongly and took a coomanding 3-0 lead at half time.

At Kpando, Heart of Lions hammered Nania FC 2-0 to qualify to the next stage.

The match between Kotoku Royals and King Solomon ended abruptly when the visitors abandoned play following a penalty award to Royals.
