Hearts win, Kotoko lose
Accra Hearts of Oak last Saturday began the season with a 1-0 win over WAFA in their First Capital Plus Premier League game at the Kpando Park.
Striker Gilbert Fiamenyo connected home a brilliant pass from Paul Acquah in the 56th minute to give the Phobians all the three points at stake.

It was the Phobians’ first home match away from their traditional Accra Sports Stadium as they are serving a two-match home ban.
At Dormaa, defending champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, yesterday stumbled when they were defeated 0-1 by Aduana Stars in a gruelling encounter.
The Champions were undone just after 11 minutes by a Richard Arhin- goal to hand the home side all the three points.
Aduana, who survived relegation, will be boosted by the win as they prepare for their mid-week clash with New Edubiase.
Kotoko, on the other hand, will turn their focus on Hasaacas on Wednesday in Kumasi.
