There were speculations that the 36-year-old former PSV Eindhoven striker would end his playing career after the 2015/2016 league season but he debunked the reports and signed for the relegated Olympics side.

Currently playing the dual role of a player and coach for the Wonder Club,  Attram disclosed in an interview with  the Graphic Sports yesterday  that he still had a lot to give to Olympics both as a player and  a coach.

“I don’t know how such rumours came flying about I don’t think I will end my career now. The team is growing with confidence with my participation on the field, and I still have a lot to add to it,” he contended.

“We are playing very well and I am certain we will  qualify for the Premier League next season and that would be  the time that my experience will be needed,” he argued.

Attram, who also played for Al Shabab, revealed that he had not played since March because he wanted the team to adapt to his tactics before he joined them on the field of play.

“I know many are thinking that I have stopped playing because they have not seen me play since March but it’s because I want my players to understand my strategy so they can cope when I stop playing,” he said.

Meanwhile,  Olympics began the second round of the GN Division One League with a 2-1 victory over Danbort Fc at the Fire Service Park last Saturday to boost their chances of returning to the top-flight.
