The East Africans suffered a 0-3 loss to the reigning African champions in the group’s match day 2 clash at the Alphonse Massamba Debat Stadium in Brazzaville.

Kaijage said the Tanzanians could only be ranked second fiddle to the Falcons when it comes to women’s football on the continent.

“We are not ashamed of anything. Nigeria is a super power not only in African women’s football but in the world.

“For us losing to the Falcons is not a big deal because we are not anywhere near them in standard.

“We can only compete with teams like Congo and not even Cote d’Ivoire. Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire are the strongest teams in African women’s football.

“So losing to Nigeria is not a worry to us because we know they are far too much ahead of us and we cannot compete against them,” said Kaijage to completesportsnigeria.com.

Falcons who lead the group on superior goals on six points same as Cote d’Ivoire will contest the ultimate in tomorrow last group match against the West Africa rivals.
