Kumasi Asante Kotoko ‘s Premier League campaign last Saturday suffered a jolt as West Africa Academy(WAFA) hammered them 2-0 at Sogakope
Charles Boateng put the homesters ahead in the 40th minute before Samuel Tetteh nailed the Porcupine Warriors three minutes into the second half.
The Porcupine Warriors were without key midfielder Jackson Owusu, who broke his leg last week, Dauda Mohammed and Kwame Boateng, who was adjudged best player in the G6 tournament.
Tragedy hit Kotoko when their goalkeeper, Felix Annan, and Edwin Tuffour were stretchered off the park.
