No changes in Queens line-up against Nigeria in grudge WAFU Zone B semis
There are no changes in the Black Queens' starting line-up as they prepare to face Nigeria in the semi-final match of the WAFU women's tournament Thursday evening.
Coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo retained the victorious starting line-up that emphatically beat Burkina Faso 4-1 in their tough final Group A game, hoping they will deliver victory against Nigeria too.
Kick-off is at 7pm.
Given the stakes and history of rivalry between the two sides, they are each putting their best and strongest forward, hoping to win to make a final berth.
Interestingly, Nigeria come into this game as the champions of the Africa Women's Championship while the Queens are the reigning All Africa Games champions.
