The former Manchester City academy right-back joined Nordsjælland last April after a short loan stint with Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz in Belgium.

The 21-year-old was introduced the second half by Coach Carsten V. Jensen to play in an advanced right wing role and he performed creditably.

The graduate of Right to Dream Academy told the Graphic Sports in a telephone interview that he was delighted that Coach Jensen had recognised him and believed in his talent.

“It wasn’t an easy game for us. Viborg are one of the best in Denmark and winning against them is great for the team. I want to thank my coach for trusting me and I hope to deliver much more performances in the future,” he said after the match.

“It was a great debut and I am really happy about my contract with FC Nordsjælland, a place where young talents are effectively developed. I look forward to demonstrating to the fans what I can do, and I'm ready to learn and improve myself as a player,” he added.
