Oly-Ashgold game for free - Massive turn-out expected

The Premier League Board(PLB) and headline sponsors of the league,First Capital Plus Bank, are guaranteeing free entry to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday as Accra Great Olympics host Ashgold in the final league fixture of the season.

Only the VIP stand will be restricted to the fans as the organisers are aiming at a massive attendance to grace the occasion.

The game will serve as coronation for Ashgold who have already won the title. A mega event awaits soccer lovers in the capital on Sunday as the Miners make a triumphant entry into the Accra Stadium.

As unique as their victory, which happened after a 19-year struggle for the title, so will Ashantigold’s decoration be on Sunday as the Premier League Board (PLB) rolls out a big surprise package for the Miners.

The event will be a sharp departure from the past where champions were crowned weeks after the end of the league.
The sponsors want to crown the Miners in grand style and also celebrate what has been a remarkable season.
