Opoku wins First Atlantic golf
The captain of the Celebrity Golf Club, Francis Akwasi Opoku, last Saturday pulled off a memorable host-and-win feat when he returned a net score of 73 to win the First Atlantic Bank 20th Anniversary Golf Invitational.

He recorded a gross of 78 which was enough to pip Norwegian golfer, Ole Ronald Aronsen on countback after they both returned the same net score of 73.
Finishing third in what was a very competitive Men's Group A was Anthony Appiah who recorded a net score of 74.
In the Men's Group B segment, Benny Mimis placed first with 67 net, while Mike Zhang clinched second place with 69 net, with Paul Ondiwah returning 72 net to finish in third place.
