The 38-year-old boxer, who has won his last two bouts after his defeat at the hands of familiar foe Braimah Kamoko (Bukom Banku) two years ago, will herald a night dubbed “Niight of Fire”.

Interestingly, patrons who troop to the Wembley Park will also witness another major bout between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto in Las Vegas on a big screen.

The “Night of Fire” will also feature a 12-round Commonwealth Elimination super bantamweight contest between Isaac Nettey, alias “The Messiah”, and Emmanuel Quartey, also known as “Akufo-Addo”.

Also on the bill is Nigerian trojan horse Yakubu Karim, a former Commonwealth Super Flyweight champion, who battles it out with Ghalley Cudjoe in an eight-round international bantamweight fight.

Stoutly built Emmanuel Danso, alias Kwahu Tyson, will also fight a yet-to-be-announced fighter on the bill which promises to produce four more thrilling bouts for fans.

The fight is the first promotional bout by new promoters Tetteh Coleman and Ganda Kaleo-Bioh who told the Daily Graphic that the pitch is an ultra-modern playground suitable for boxing.

They aim to transform Ghana boxing and get young lads off the streets of the Ayawaso District.

“Ayittey Powers is a local icon and we believe he can motivate the kids to fight for a living instead of engaging in social vices,” they noted.
