Stephen Adams eyes Black Stars return
Aduana Stars number one goalie, Stephen Adams, says he is working very hard to make his way back into the senior national team.

He told the Graphic Sports in an interview that, “With my injury worries over and currently in fine form, I hope to use this football season to bounce back into the senior national team”.
Adams believes Aduana can repeat their 2009/10 season success story when they won the league for the first time.
The Aduana Stars safest pair of hands, whose exploits in the domestic league and at the 2013 edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), earned him a call- up into the senior national team, which eventually played in the Brazil 2014 World Cup, contended that the club had recruited more young players, who had blended very well with the old guards who were strongly coming into the new season to reclaim the league which they first won in the 2009/10 season.
The burly goalkeeper further downplayed concerns about his hefty physique, explaining that nothing had changed since he came into the limelight.
“We are all like that, those who know my family will tell you. I am not fat, it is a family trait, we have the pysique”. he added.
Ghana’s Premier League, which ended last September 2015, was expected to commence in December last year but had to be delayed due to litigations which characterised the promotion and demotion of clubs from Division One into the Premiership.
However, the Ghana Football Association (GFA), after managing to resolve the impasse among other issues, has tentatively fixed February 20, 2016 as the kick-off date.
