Airtel wins four awards

Airtel Ghana received four awards at the 2015 Ghana Telecom Awards.  

The company won the Telecom Brand of the Year; Marketing Campaign of the Year - Talk Chaw; Innovative Enterprise Product of the Year - One Network. The Special Recognition Award  was received by the Managing Director of Airtel, Ms Lucy Quist.

The awards were held to recognise excellence in communication services in Ghana, though the approach and methodology used in selecting the winners have come under some scrutiny.  

Receiving the awards on behalf of Airtel Ghana, the MD of the company, Ms Lucy Quist, said: “The awards are a validation of our relentless strive for world-class products and services in order to give our customers the very best of telecommunication experience”. 

“It’s been an overwhelming night, we know we deserve all that we have received but we are, at the same time, humbled by the honour done us,” she said.

Ms Quist also said “we dedicate these awards to our loyal customers. We are truly grateful to them for choosing Airtel.”
