Bolt, Africa’s leading ride-hailing platform, has launched a week-long celebration to honour the drivers and riders who form the backbone of its operations across Ghana as part of this year’s Customer Service Week.
Under the theme “Bolt Says Thanks,” the initiative recognises what the company calls the “daily heroes” who keep its service moving — the drivers who work tirelessly to connect people and the passengers who rely on Bolt for their everyday transport needs.
As part of the celebration, Bolt has partnered with Pizzaman Chickenman to offer free meals to top-performing drivers in Accra throughout the week. Riders are also being encouraged to share their favourite Bolt experiences on Instagram for a chance to win three months’ worth of free rides.
In addition, Bolt will distribute various rewards including spa trips, shopping vouchers, and meal coupons to loyal customers as part of its appreciation drive.
Speaking on the initiative, Adega Murbe, Regional Marketing Manager for Bolt Africa, said the campaign is designed to recognise the people who make the company’s success possible. “At Bolt, we believe our drivers and riders are the real heroes who make what we do possible every single day,” she said. “This week is about saying thank you to them for their dedication, loyalty, and the positive spirit they bring to our community. ‘Bolt Says Thanks’ is our way of celebrating their everyday efforts and showing that we truly appreciate them.”
The company says the celebration also reflects its long-term commitment to strengthening relationships within the Bolt community, while promoting service excellence, motivation, and mutual respect among users and drivers alike.
Through initiatives such as “Bolt Says Thanks,” the platform continues to affirm its place as a people-centred mobility brand, dedicated to creating rewarding experiences for both its service providers and customers.
