Bolt rewards couriers for acts of honesty and dedication
Bolt Food Ghana has honoured two of its couriers for going above and beyond in their service to customers, awarding each of them GH¢1,000 worth of gift vouchers in recognition of their exemplary conduct.
In Kumasi, courier Peter Adombila was celebrated for braving a heavy storm to complete a delivery, ensuring that his customer received their order safely and on time despite severe weather conditions.
In Accra, courier Geoffrey Kemeh was recognised for his honesty after a customer mistakenly transferred GH¢1,116 instead of GH¢116. He immediately returned the excess GH¢1,000, reinforcing what Bolt described as the trust and integrity that underpin its operations.
Speaking at the presentation, the General Manager of Bolt Food Ghana, Mr Ali Zaryab, commended the couriers for setting a high standard in the industry. “At Bolt Food, we are proud of the values our couriers uphold daily. Peter and Geoffrey have set a strong example of dedication, honesty, and customer care. These acts of exemplary service are a testament that our platform is powered not just by technology, but by people who are committed to doing the right thing,” he said.
Bolt Food noted that the recognition was part of a wider initiative to celebrate couriers who demonstrate integrity and commitment while encouraging a culture of excellence across the sector. The company said it continues to invest in programmes that empower couriers, enhance their experience, and strengthen their role in delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused service.
Operating in more than 50 countries and 600 cities, Bolt serves over 200 million customers worldwide. The company said it aims to accelerate the shift from private car ownership to shared mobility while promoting sustainable and trustworthy service delivery.
