Rev. Gyekye, who said this during the climax of the golden jubilee celebrations of Tex Styles Ghana Limited, also commended the company for the critical role it was playing in the socio-cultural and economic affairs of Ghana.

He said one was likely to find a GTP product in virtually every home in Ghana, adding that it was a mark of the company’s effort to help in the developmental agenda of the country.

‘You must build on the solid foundation laid by the founding fathers of the company. You must lay foundations that will take this company into the next 50 years,” he said.

The Managing Director of the company, Mr Kofi Boateng, said the company started its celebration by interacting with its loyal trade partners across the country, informing them about  the company’s challenges, aspirations and plans for the future.

Additionally, he said the company undertook some activities which included, health walk, inauguration of the Blood Donors Club, donation of 150 pints of blood to the National Blood Bank, rehabilitation of the maternity ward of the Tema General Hospital as well as the cutting of sod to construct  multi-purpose canteen and toilet facilities for the Tema Community 4 public schools, a project which will be completed in September this year.
