Delta in top 10 on Fortune 100 Best Companies to work for
For the seventh year consecutively, Delta’s culture speaks for itself — “earning us a place on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list and carrying us up to No. 9 this year.
“Being recognised among the top 10 best companies to work for demonstrates the power of our people-first culture.
“Delta is a place where people can grow, innovate and do their best work, thanks to our culture of care, trust and servant leadership,” the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delta Air Lines, Ed Bastian, said.
Delta is the only commercial airline to make the list of the top 100 companies honoured.
What sets Delta apart
“Our people drive our success, which is why when Delta does well, they share that reward,” Mr Bastian remarked.
“From paying out more profit sharing than our competitors combined to another pay raise coming in 2026, we believe that investing in employees is investing in the continued success of Delta,” he added.
Mr Bastian stated that the airline also offered unique benefits, such as free and reduced travel and emotional, physical and financial wellness programmes that helped clients and their families thrive at every stage of life.
“Our ‘keep climbing’ approach to continually improving means employee feedback shapes our decisions,” he said.
Other awards
This comes on the heels of other awards chalked up by Delta, including one of Glassdoor’s 2026 top 100 Best Places to Work, No. 11 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list, one of the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women and No. 3 on the 2025 PEOPLE Companies That Care List.
Fortune and research firm Great Place to Work surveyed millions of employees to determine what makes them love the work they do and how employers create exceptional workplaces.
The survey measures six components: values, innovation, financial growth, leadership effectiveness, maximising human potential and trust.
