German Ambassador hails Meridian Plus, other companies for participating in 7th Agrofood & Plastprintpack Exhibition 

The German Ambassador to Ghana, Frederick Landshoft, has commended companies participating in the 2025 edition of the 7th Agrofood & Plastprintpack Exhibition, describing their active involvement as a clear indication of the growing determination by locally-owned companies to dominate the food, agribusiness, food processing, and packaging industries.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the three-day event on October 28, 2025, Ambassador Landshoft emphasized that the industrial and agricultural transformation of Africa depends heavily on effective collaboration among companies and organisations across the continent.

He commended the participating companies and urged them to work together to develop practical solutions to the numerous challenges facing the food and agriculture sectors in Africa.

Among the nearly 100 companies which were praised by the German Ambassador is the  Meridian Plus Company Limited, which is actively participating in the conference.

The company is being represented by Project Manager and Cold Store Executive, Emmanuel Asamoah Topen, and Cold Store Executive, Joana Ohene Kyeraa. The team mounted an exhibition stand at the pavilion, where they will be showcasing the wide range of products and services offered by Meridian Plus Company Limited for the next three days. 

They will also be with investors and participants from over fifteen countries, including Ivory Coast, Nigeria, China, the Netherlands, South Africa, Egypt, India, and Sri Lanka, among others.

About the Conference

The high-level conference brought together policymakers, technology leaders, and industry experts to discuss critical topics such as agribusiness development, food processing, sustainable packaging, and circular economy models.

A major highlight of the 2025 edition was the International Trade Centre (ITC) Pavilion, which featured exhibitors from Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire under one roof. This initiative promoted South-South cooperation and strengthened business partnerships within the West African region.
