Golden Bean Hotel breaks new grounds

Golden Bean Hotel, which received a royal seal from the occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, recently, is making unparalleled strides to attain great heights in the field of tourism at its Nhyiaeso location in Kumasi.

Since October 2015, when it commenced operations, it has so far won five awards; averaging an award a month.

It has lived to the charge by Otumfuo to raise and maintain higher standards and receive national and international recognition and not rest on its laurels.

The pouring in of the honours commenced with two from the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Tourist Board.

Golden Bean was presented with two awards, one for Top Quality Emerging Hotel Brand Service and Comfort, while the other one was a Certificate of Excellence In Outstanding Performance., both in August 2015.

In the same month of August, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, presented the hotel management with a resounding recognition for its role at the Ghana Business and Financial Services Award.

Premier Brand Ghana also recognised Golden Bean for being one of the Top Quality Emerging Hotel Brands in Customer Service and Comfort.

The General Manager, Mr James Amankwa, speaking to the GRAPHIC BUSINESS said these were indications that authorities and cherished clients were paying particular attention to their services and would do everything possible to maintain the high standard and quality of its customer service.

“I take this opportunity to reassure our clients that the Golden Bean Hotel team will continue to not just provide the highest standards of service and comfort they have been so accustomed to, but also endeavour to constantly exceed their expectation,” he said.

It derived its name from the prestigious cash crop, cocoa, which has sustained the Ghanaian economy for decades.

The hotel has already carved a name for itself and is gradually worming itself to become the preferred destination for both business and leisure guests as well as organizers of very important functions.

This plush 51-room hotel is located 15 minutes’ drive from the Kumasi Airport, five minutes away from both the VIP station and the famous Kumasi Central Market with a fire station just two minutes away.

Golden Bean Hotel has two domes; each comes with a capacity of 800 and provides an ideal facility for conferences, banquets and other events with large numbers of people.  The well-decorated, fully air-conditioned domes offer a touch of glamour and beauty with class for all business and social events.

For additional meeting space, the Adehyee Garden can host private functions up to 800 guests. This event garden is an impressive space for hosting receptions and theme events. A dedicated convention services and banquet team is available to attend to all special event details. — GB
