The Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) and inGenius Africa have agreed on a business partnership to provide consumers with high-quality audiovisual content.

The content will be streamed on Graphic Online and on social media via the Daily Graphic's Facebook Page (@DailyGraphicGhana) and Kente TV on YouTube.

inGenius delighted to partner Graphic
The Managing Director of inGenius Africa, Mr Kwame Boadi said the media firm would bring its professionalism which has produced quality films such as Ultimate Paradise, Taxi Driver and Sun City to bear on the partnership.
"To help us achieve our dream to produce such high-quality digital content, we need a strategic partner whose ethos fits with the philosophy and what we are looking for," Mr Boadi said when he paid a courtesy call on the Editor of the Daily Graphic on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
"There are all sorts of content in the digital space but high-quality digital content is hard to find. This partnership with Graphic, an entity with a strong Pan-Africanist and Made-in-Ghana values which is also digital will help us achieve this goal".
He said existing inGenius content would be streamed on the internet as part of the partnership but new programmes would also be developed as part of the agreement.
Authentic content lacking in digital space
The Editor of the Daily Graphic, Mr Kobby Asmah noted that a lot of the audiovisual content on the internet was currently lacking in authenticity and quality, a gap which the Graphic and inGenius partnership could fill with quality productions.
"Any partnership that is aimed at quality is most welcome. Over the last 70 years, Graphic is known to have churned out very viable, fair, objective, truthful and accurate information to the general public. For that reason, almost every newspaper is known as Graphic," Mr Asmah said.

"I want to believe that your organisation has a similar hallmark, so when we come together for a partnership in the digital space, it is a very good thing".
Welcoming the partnership, the Deputy Editor of Graphic Online, Mr Enoch Darfah Frimpong said he was glad to be working with a firm to produce quality and authentic content.
The WebMaster of Graphic Online, Mr Francis Osabutey said the partnership was being consummated at the perfect time when the consumption of audiovisual content was shifting from television to other devices.
"We (GCGL) have been making plans to branch into the audiovisuals instead of sticking with the printed, so the partnership coming at this time when we are trying to push our Graphic NewsApp and online brands is perfect timing".
