QM: Your full name
My full name is Eric Ofosu
QM: Tell me about your TBSC journey with KNUST
It all began when I was introduced to it during a lecture session. I knew representing KNUST on such a platform was an opportunity that I couldn’t let go but I needed to justify my inclusion in the team.
As a 3rd year student, it required a lot of time, hard work, sacrifice and commitment to finally find a place in the team.

I, along with my teammates Lord Kelvin Atisu and Vivian Nyantah Nsiah, embarked on this challenging yet rewarding journey. The competition was really intense; no wonder it’s called “THE HOT SEAT”.
QM: How was the feeling like on winning the competition in 2021?
Winning the TBSC v.4.0 trophy in 2022 was such a wonderful experience. Finally, our hard work, late night studies, and sacrifice had finally paid off.
The victory was not just a personal achievement but a proud moment for KNUST. Indeed, you have to Learn before you Earn.
QM: What were some of the challenges faced, lessons learnt, and key takeaways from the TBSC platform?
A smooth sea never makes a good sailor, we faced moments of doubts and pressure, combining academic work with the competition wasn’t easy.
However, the challenges taught us resilience, teamwork, sacrifice, and the importance of staying composed under pressure. My Key takeaways from the competition will be time management, critical thinking, and team collaboration.
QM: What do you currently do and how has the TBSC shaped you afterward (Impact of TBSC, if any)?
