Platinum Impex, the company behind Sigma Appliances, has launched its first-ever Platinum Dealers Day in Accra, unveiling a new line of products, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, and a loyalty programme for its authorised dealers.
The event, held on Friday, September 19, 2025, was themed “Powering Growth Together” and brought together the company’s dealers, partners and technicians for training, networking and major product reveals.

The General Manager of Platinum Impex, Ahmad Taan, said the event highlighted the company’s appreciation for the partners who have driven its growth. “This event was a celebration of the partnerships that have been instrumental to our success. Our dealers and technicians are the frontline of our business, and this event underscored our commitment to investing in their growth. The launch of our new products and our CSR initiative demonstrate our dedication to both market innovation and social responsibility,” he explained.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Sigma Luxe AC, a premium product described as combining design, energy efficiency and health-conscious features. Sales Manager Santosh Engolla said the product was a milestone for the brand. “We were thrilled to unveil our new line of products, which are the result of extensive research to bring the best technology to our customers. The new Sigma Luxe AC line, with its black panel and black mirror finish, represents the pinnacle of our design and engineering. Its Dual Inverter technology, R32 refrigerant, and Anti-Bacterial Filter are a game-changer, offering unmatched efficiency and air quality. We are confident these products will exceed the expectations of the Ghanaian consumer.”
The company also announced the launch of Sigma for TVET, a CSR programme developed in partnership with the Ghana TVET Service. The initiative is aimed at training the next generation of skilled technicians. “This Dealers Day was about celebrating our collective impact,” said Marketing Manager, Marie D. Sam. “We were incredibly proud to launch our ‘Sigma for TVET’ CSR initiative in partnership with the Ghana TVET Service, which will help train the next generation of skilled technicians. From January 2026, for every Sigma Appliance purchased, consumers will be contributing to the ‘Sigma for TVET’ initiative.”
She also introduced the Platinum Partner Program, a points-based loyalty scheme rewarding dealers with credit notes for future purchases. “This initiative deepens our relationships and directly invests in the profitability of our partners,” she added.
The event featured product training sessions, sales strategy workshops, and advanced technical tutorials delivered by Platinum Impex and its manufacturing partners. The company’s brand ambassador, actor Adjetey Anang, popularly known as Pusher, also made an appearance.
Mr. Taan stressed that the event was the start of a long-term vision. “We believe in building a future where our success is intrinsically linked to the success of our partners and the well-being of our community. This event was the first of many steps we are taking to solidify that vision,” he said.
Sigma Appliances, a subsidiary of the RJ Group, was relaunched in 2024 and has since become a key player in Ghana’s home appliances market. The company says the new product line, CSR initiative and loyalty programme reflect its drive to innovate while contributing positively to society.
