Sir Sam Jonah, Professor Pikay Richardson to share leadership lessons in new book

Renowned business leader Sir Sam Jonah is set to share decades of leadership wisdom and experience in a new book titled Mastering Leadership: Principles, Practice and Lessons, co-authored with Professor Pikay Richardson.

The book, which will be launched on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Accra Marriott Hotel, offers practical insights into effective leadership drawn from the authors’ remarkable careers in business and academia.

The launch is expected to attract policymakers, business executives, academics, and leadership enthusiasts from Ghana and around the world. Scheduled from 6 pm to 9 pm, the event will feature a leadership dialogue, networking session, and a celebration of excellence in governance and management.

Combining real-world experience with academic insight, the publication provides actionable lessons on decision-making, organisational transformation, and leadership growth.

Sir Sam Jonah, known for his transformational leadership at Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited, where he expanded it from a single-mine operation into a multinational giant, aims to inspire a new generation of ethical and visionary leaders.

Co-author Professor Pikay Richardson, a Ghanaian-born leadership strategist and former Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester Business School, brings a global and scholarly perspective to the work.
