
Standard Chartered Bank Ghana declares GH¢1.67 per share final dividend for 2024
Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has announced a final dividend payment of GH¢1.6704 per share for the 2024 financial year, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
In a notice issued today by GCB Registrars, the bank confirmed that shareholders registered in its books by Friday, July 11, 2025, will qualify for the dividend payout.
The Register of Shareholders will subsequently close from Monday, July 14, to Tuesday, July 15, 2025, to facilitate the process.
The ex-dividend date has been set for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, meaning investors who purchase SCB shares on or after this date will not be entitled to the final dividend. The bank will disburse payments to eligible shareholders on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Michael K. Wereko of GCB Registrars, acting for Standard Chartered Ghana PLC, signed the notice, which was issued at the bank’s head office on Thorpe Road/High Street in Accra.
This announcement follows the bank’s strong financial performance in 2024, reinforcing its commitment to delivering shareholder value. Market analysts expect the dividend declaration to bolster investor confidence in the bank’s stock ahead of the AGM.
