As part of efforts to deepen the country's democracy, the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will converge on the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow to elect its national executive, as has been the practice of any political party preparing to go into a general election.
This is an internal party process that requires temperance among the leadership and the base to ensure that after everything is done and dusted the party will come out stronger and more united.
In all, a total of 8,964 delegates will take part in the 10th congress, on the theme: “Rallying for victory 2024; Ghana’s hope," to determine the fate of the candidates contesting the various national positions of the party.

The positions are the National Chairman, Vice-Chairmen, General Secretary and Deputies, National Organiser and Deputies, Communication Officer and Deputies and National Executive Committee members.
