Adonai is my biggest hit — Sarkodie
Since rapper Sarkodie burst onto the music scene, he has consistently delivered so many hit songs but according to him, none can compare to his track, Adonai.
Released in 2014, Adonai, which featured Castro, was a huge song and its impact was felt not only in Ghana but outside the country as well.

According to Sarkodie, Adonai got him a lot of deals and he has not been able to release a song bigger than that.
He said although his fans wish he would release more of such songs, he won’t because he is a rapper.
“My management team sometimes argues with me to do more of such songs and get shows to play but I refuse because that is not my style,” Sarkodie said.
He explained that his hard core fans respect him as a rapper and he wouldn’t want to do anything different from what he is known for.
“Some musicians in Ghana need massive hits to survive and therefore do any kind of song to stay relevant but that is not Sarkodie. I stand for rap and that is what has brought me this far,” he noted.
Sarkodie also spoke about the artistes on his label including Akwaboah and Strongman saying very soon Ghanaians will hear of them as they are working underground.
