Chosen releases You’re-A-Star

As the Ghana music scene keeps evolving, new and promising artistes keep emerging and one of such to hit the limelight in recent time is contemporary gospel artiste, Chosen.

Real name  Listowell Acquaye,  Chosen is out with a new single You’re-A-Star recorded by DOB Music in Mamprobi last month. His first single, Go Higherrr came out two years ago. 

The song  released last week, focuses on transforming and challenging the youth of today to lead exemplary lives by being loyal and credible ambassadors of the Christian faith,  in order to make the world a better place for posterity.

On the song, Chosen encourages everyone not to give up in life no matter the circumstances they may be going through.

Clear lyrics, coupled with a simple beat, makes the song easy to sing after hearing it.

Chosen said he was inspired to put the song together after reading Acts Chapter 10 verse 34  which says.. …then Peter opened his mouth and said “of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons’. 

According to Chosen “We have all been called and chosen by God to make an impact and a positive change in our generation by living godly lives and spreading the word of God to all humanity. 

What can limit us from this honourable mandate? Trust me there’s nothing. In fact, no excuse will be accepted at the seond coming of Jesus Christ should we fail to comply.”

He strongly believes he is the next inspirational music sensation to take Ghanaian gospel music to heights that will attract global appeal.
