Nene Joojo: I’m grateful to Kwabena Kwabena
Although highlife musician Nene Joojo has not hit the limelight yet, the singer who enjoyed a little bit of attention when he featured on Kwabena Kwabena’s Engyi Mi Ho says he would forever remain grateful to him.
“Kwabena Kwabena is one of the best highlife musicians we have in Ghana and he has helped me a lot. I was a rapper when I started my music career but he managed to get me to sing and I can only be grateful to him for that” he told Showbiz in an interview last week.

Now Nene Joojo who is being managed by Adofo Somoah Bernard feels he has learnt a lot from his mentor Kwabena Kwabena and feels ready to stand on his own. And he has done that with a new single Ɛmpaboa Fofro featuring T-Phlow.
The love song advises lovers to move on when there is separation. On the song Nene Joojo said some people find it difficult to move on after breakup adding that relationship gone bad is not the end of the world.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Nene Joojo real name Divine Joojo Darko said, Kwabena Kwabena helped in so many ways including playing gigs with him all over Ghana.
He added that but for Kwabena Kwabena, he would not have gotten the little attention he had some three years ago.
Joojo who is under Cross Tour records plans to make himself relevant by dropping very good songs by the end of the year, he said he has plans of working with almost all the A- List artistes.
“I believe it is time Ghanaians know the real Nene Joojo and what he is capable of. I have been around for some time now and I believe the time to breakthrough is now” he said.
