Tinny says ‘Goway You There’
There is no doubting the role Ga rapper, Tinny has played in the music industry but he feels there is too much disrespect from the new crop of artistes and he vents his frustration on a new track titled Goway You There featuring Apaatse.
The Hip hop piece, sang in Tinny’s trademark Ga dialect and interspersed with some English, reminds music lovers of the days when he and his compatriots ruled the airwaves.

“This is not to brag but I want to let people know that before they came on the scene, my colleagues and I had also enjoyed popularity so they should go away. The new artistes of today forget that some of us were hot and did great stuff which paved the way for them to be who they are today but unfortunately, they look down on us now.
“Goway You There is my message to such artistes to spare some time to know about our achievements. The records are there to prove our hard work,” he told Showbiz on Tuesday.
Goway You There has a groovy tune which one cannot help but move to.
For Apaatse, working with Tinny on his new song was very easy since the Aletse Kankpe hitmaker knows what he is about.
“It wasn’t difficult working with Tinny because he is old in the system. He had everything planned and that made my professional work easier,” he said.
Tinny used the opportunity to advise up and coming artistes to produce good material and not disposable songs so they can build a respectable brand.
He is really hoping that Goway You There will be well received. “I know this song will do well, people will love it. It is a danceable tune and that is what Ghanaians love,” he added.
