Black Sherif rocks packed UG Stadium as Zaama Disco 2025 sells out in style
The University of Ghana Sports Stadium came alive on Saturday night as Black Sherif delivered a thrilling performance at Zaama Disco 2025, turning the venue into a massive party filled with music, lights and nonstop excitement.
By showtime, the place was completely full, with thousands of young music lovers ready for a night to remember. When Black Sherif finally appeared on stage, the crowd erupted, singing along to every song and proving once again why he remains one of Ghana’s most loved artistes.
This year’s Zaama Disco was a huge success even before the event day.
Tickets sold out within just two weeks, and the online ticket platform reportedly crashed twice when Early Bird tickets were released. Organisers sold tickets strictly online, with no sales at the gate, a move that added to the exclusivity of the event.
Black Sherif was not alone on the big night. He was joined on stage by top acts including Sarkodie, KiDi, Kofi Mole, AratheJay, Gonaboy, AlorG, Kojo Blak and Beeztrap.
Each artiste brought their own energy, keeping the crowd fully entertained. Sarkodie’s entrance sent fans into wild cheers, while KiDi’s smooth performance had the entire stadium singing along.
The stadium lit up with colourful lights, large LED screens and phone flashlights waving in the air, creating a beautiful and unforgettable scene. Fans danced from start to finish, capturing every moment and sharing the experience across social media.
Although the show started later than expected due to a boxing event held at the same venue the night before, the excitement quickly took over once performances began. Despite a few challenges, the event ended on a high note and was widely described as a success.
Black Sherif later hinted that there were security issues he would address another time, saying, “My colleagues’ security personnel dema matter deɛ, e no be here I go talk am. I will find a perfect time for that.”
