Chemphe is Starz ambassador
Many fans of Chemphe who thronged the Holiday Inn last Saturday for the official outdooring of the RnB singer as the brand ambassador for the new Starz Energy Drink might have been disappointed at the turn of events.

It was the expectation of such fans to see the artiste in performance after his absence from the scene for sometime but it turned out to be a fiasco. He did not perform.
Even though artistes such as Keche, TicTac, Ded Buddy and Jon Germain were present at the event, they didn’t perform contrary to earlier publicity. Rather, the only performance at the event was a cultural performance.
However, that notwithstanding, the purpose of outdooring the new Starz Energy Drink and Chemphe as its ambassador came off.
As part of activities marking him as brand ambassador for Starz energy drink, he is set to embark on a number of social responsibility projects as a way of brightening up the lives of the less privileged in society.
In an interview with Showbiz, Chemphe said being made a brand ambassador for the energy drink would in no way affect his output and performance as an artiste.
He said that on the contrary, being given the added responsibility would rather encourage him to work harder.
“This is not the first time I’m being made a brand ambassador for a company and its product. I deem it a great honour but that does not mean I will abandon the other responsibilities I have,” he said.

He added that the reason he was selected out of the myriad of artistes was the fact that he embodied all the qualities required to project a positive image for KADENNIS Company Ltd, distributers of Starz energy drink.
Real name, Henry Randy Agyekum, Chemphe shot to fame in 2006 with his song, Why U Dey Treat Am Bad.
He was part of the hiplife group, Outrageous, before hitting the limelight. He is known for songs such as One People, No Pampaana and Emotions.
In 2008, he won the Best Male Vocalist, Best Reggae Song and Best Video of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
