Gyakie headlines CroxItOut 2025 concert

GHANAIAN songstress Gyakie is headline performer for this year’s CroxItOut 2025 concert, an annual advocacy and music event dedicated to raising awareness and support for breast cancer in Ghana.

The 6.00pm concert, organised by MX24 in collaboration with Alliance Française, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Alliance Française, Accra, will also see performances from other female artistes and DJs.

Other activities to mark the day include  free breast cancer screening and the much-anticipated Pink Fair, a curated exhibition of women-led brands and businesses promoting health, wellness and creativity.

Patrons will also experience interactive sessions, open forums and moving testimonies from breast cancer survivors and advocates who will share their journeys to inspire others to prioritise their health.

This year’s theme, ‘Beats for the Brave – Turning Up the Volume on Breast Cancer Awareness,’ sets the tone for a night that promises a perfect blend of entertainment, education, and empowerment.

CroxItOut has, over the years, grown into one of Ghana’s most impactful platforms that combine music and advocacy to inspire action.

Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Project Lead, Yaa Bitha, explained that the CroxItOut campaign is not just another concert, but a mission to save lives through awareness and early detection.

“This is more than a concert. It’s a celebration of bravery, a reminder of the power of early detection, and a platform for women to feel seen and supported. We want people to leave with not just good memories of music, but with valuable information that could make a difference in their lives.”

She further expressed excitement about having Gyakie as the headline performer, describing her as the perfect fit for the campaign’s message of courage and empowerment.

“Having Gyakie lead this year’s concert is a big deal for us,” she said. “She represents a new generation of women using their voices and platforms to influence positive change. Her energy, her story, and her connection with her audience make her an ideal ambassador for this cause.”

Gyakie, who recently released an EP, After Midnight, expressed her excitement about being part of the cause.

“I’m truly honoured to be part of this movement. As women, we go through so much and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. This concert is a powerful reminder that our health matters, and I’m excited to use my music to spread that message.”

She added that the CroxItOut Concert will offer more than just entertainment as it will bring people together for a common purpose.

“Music heals, and when we use it to raise awareness, it becomes even more powerful. I can’t wait to connect with everyone on that stage and create an unforgettable experience.”
