Mohammed achieved the feat a few months after declaring her intention to pursue it.

26-year-old Hilda Baci had achieved the longest cooking marathon with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Chef Mohammed who began her cook-a-thon on August 11 unofficially set a new record after cooking for 95 hours 15 minutes.

The mother of two who had previously broken the Guinness World Record in 2019, posted pictures online to mark her new accomplishment.

The Guinness World Record, however, has not confirmed Chef Mohammed’s new cooking record.

Now popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci officially received her plaque from Guinness World Records for the longest marathon cooking in June.

This was after the Guinness World Records had certified her as the new record holder for the longest cooking by an individual with 93 hours and 11 minutes on Tuesday, June 13.

In a social media post, Guinness World Records said, “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes”.

Hilda Baci announced the good news in a post on her official social media pages on June 19.

She tweeted, “Our plaque is here”.

The previous record of 87 hours 45 minutes was set by Lata Tondon (India) in 2019.
