The seven-track album has songs like What Dem Want Again, Do No Bad, Maami  Ewa, Red Gold Green, Love Life, and Education.

A passionate Pan-Africanist himself, Kombolo’s lyrics in all the songs reflect his passion to see black people all over the world unite for progress. The songs also touch on good citizenship and the tough times currently facing many people in various places.

Artistes featured on the album are Blaka, Lutan Fyah and J’se James. The tracks were recorded in Jamaica, Switzerland and Ghana.

Kombolo who recently returned from a performance tour of Jamaica and Europe says he likes to link his music with education to encourage the youth and to promote Pan- African ideas.

“I write informative and inspiring music to educate the youth and advise them to stay away from social vices. I believe education whether formal or informal can help change lives of our youth. I see my music as a way of impacting positively on society,” he states.

Kombolo releases his music on his own Judah Promotions label. His debut outing, Repent Now, was released in 2010. He is widely travelled and has performed in countriessuch as France, Austria, Slovenia and  Swizerland.

“I’m grateful to Jah for opening doors for me around the world through music,” the musician says.

The function attracted several Pan-Africanists, some of whom travelled from Koforidua, Cape Coast and Wa for the event.  A documentary on the life of Marcus Garvey was also shown.

According to Kombolo, funds generated from the Red Gold Green album would go to  build  a library for the Nagus I Afrocentric International Academy at Ashaiman, near Tema.
