Lextra ready for fashion show

As part of activities to mark its Hall Week celebration, the Alexender Kwapong Hall, aka Lextra, is set to host the biggest fashion show on campus on Friday, October 9, 2015.

The Hall, celebrating its fourth Hall week celebration is named after the first Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Legon.

The Hall week celebration which starts on Monday, October 5, will be climaxed with the fashion show which will feature the works of several young fashion designers made up of mostly students who will showcase what they are made of.

According to organisers of the event, the African fashion industry keeps evolving and with the emergence of afrocentric, “we believe African fashion has a bright future.”

Among the designers whose collections will grace the runway which will be erected at the forecourt of the hall include   Afrodistrict, Ruddy, Rags of Glory, Enkasa Apparel, and Royalty by Nanasei among others.

The fashion show which promises to be exciting will also have young photographers such as Focus Extreme and Odfit Photography provide coverage while Eugene and The Surge provide music for patrons.
