Makeup and More School of Cosmetology holds second graduation ceremony
The Make and More School of Cosmetology has graduated its second batch of students after successfully completing their various courses of study.
A total of 24 students graduated, out of which 10 graduated with certificate in Cosmetology, four in Makeup Artistry, 16 in Beauty Therapy, two in Millenary and Beading, and one each in Hairdressing and Beading.
The ceremony was graced by popular veteran actress and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fali’s Hot Pot Restaurant, Ms Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu, who was also the Guest of Honour.

Miss Emmeline Nyarko Ampofo, a trained nurse, was adjudged the overall best student.
‘Work with passion’
Ms Edjeani entreated the graduands not to put money first in whatever they do, but work with passion and determination and not to stick to one business but explore different options.
She also encouraged them to put God first in every aspect of their life.
The CEO of the school, Mrs Gloria Abla Pwamang, also implored the graduands to be good ambassadors of the school by working hard.
She said the school was registered with the Ghana Education Service under the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) and Council for Technical and Vocational Education Training (COTVET), and that created opportunities for students and the graduands to go for advanced education in cosmetology.
Miss Janet Kottoh, on behalf of the graduands, expressed appreciation to the parents and guardians and the management of the school for their support, adding that even though the journey had been tough, they had been able to sail through successfully.

Background
Makeup and More School of Cosmetology commenced as a beauty shop 14 years ago to provide beauty services and supplies, especially makeup.
It provides services including bridal makeups, makeup for photoshoots, and Runaways and more.
It was based on the demands of many of their clients to train them in the various fields of cosmetology that the school was finally establised.
Currently, the school trains students in Beauty Therapy, Hair Technology, Beading and Millinery.

There are also short courses in Makeup, Fascinators, Wig Caps among others.
The school is accredited by Ghana Education Service, National Vocational Training institute (NVTI), Council for Technical and Vocational Education Training (COTVET).
