NDA Charity Foundation hosts free health screening for Agona Nyakrom residents
NDA Charity Foundation led by media personality, and philanthropist, Naana Donkor Arthur (NDA) has organised a free health screening for residents of Agona Nyakrom and neighboring communities in the Central region.
The exercise forms part of NDA’s social responsibility commitment to the people of Agona Nyakrom where she hails from. It was held at Agona Nyakrom Community Center with over 100 patrons taking part in the screening exercise.
This initiative comes few days after visiting victims of the Kantamanto market fire in Accra, where she offered words of comfort and made a cash donation to support their recovery.
The health screening exercise, held on January 8 at the Agona Nyakrom Community Center, attracted over 100 participants from the area
Participants were screened for various medical conditions, including body mass index (BMI) levels, blood pressure, optical health issues, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions.
Speaking at the event, Naana Donkor Arthur expressed her commitment to giving back to the people of Agona Nyakrom and surrounding communities as part of her social responsibility.
She noted that the initiative was aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services for the underprivileged.
“This is just the beginning,” she said. “We aim to return in the near future to conduct another health screening and continue supporting the health needs of our people.”
She explained that NDA Charity Foundation was dedicated to its mission of uplifting communities through impactful initiatives, ensuring that the less privileged had vital healthcare services.
