Aklerh gears up for her new song 'Mash Up' on January 15

Ghanaian Afrodancehall sensation Aklerh has started the New Year on a positive note with the announcement of the release of a new song, "Mash Up," on Tuesday, January 15, 2025.

This new Afrobeat tune comes on the heels of her successful six-track EP, "Dancehall Queen," which debuted in April 2024.

 Released under the Revolution Record label, "Mash Up" promises to showcase Aklerh's unique sound and artistry.

Since her emergence in the music scene, Aklerh has captivated audiences with her electrifying performances, including notable appearances at Stonebwoy's BHIM Beach Concert and Ras Kuuku's Puomfest among others.

 In addition, her own concert, Queen of the Coast, received rave reviews last year. Stonebwoy himself has tipped Aklerh as one of the dancehall acts to watch from Africa, further solidifying her rising star status.

The Queen of the Coast as she calls herself expressed her excitement with her upcoming song, she said, “As an artiste I feel like expressing myself according to how I feel, hence my first afrobeat track which I believe my fans will love and bring in new fans.”
