Noble Nketsiah hosts maiden ‘Worship beyond Worship’ in Accra
To bridge the gap in understanding the relevance of worship music among young gospel artistes, renowned gospel singer, Noble Nketsiah has organised a seminar titled, ‘Worship Beyond Worship’.
Held at the Christ Family In Covenant Church Auditorium (CFIC), Teshie, Accra on Saturday, the worship seminar aimed to equip young singers with the knowledge and skills to create impactful worship music that stays true to its spiritual core.
The seminar, which drew participants from various parts of the country, focused on helping young gospel artistes grasp the essence of worship music beyond its stylistic elements.
According to Noble, the purpose of the seminar was to also ensure that the next generation of gospel musicians understands the power of worship music in connecting with the divine and conveying a meaningful message to their audience.
“Worship music is more than just a genre or style; it's a powerful tool for spiritual connection and growth. To understand true worship, you must know the rudiments and characteristics of the word worship and that is why there are many church members but few worshipers.
“The goal was to train these young artistes to create music that not only resonates with their audience but also stays true to the core message of the gospel,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
Through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and discussions, participants gained valuable insights into the art of crafting worship songs that are both inspiring and impactful.
It also provided a platform for young artistes to share their experiences, challenges, and ideas on how to effectively blend creativity with spirituality in their music.
“By this seminar, I hope to inspire a new wave of gospel musicians who will use their talents to create music that glorify God and uplift His people.
“The initiative has been well-received, with many participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to deepen their understanding of worship music and its role in ministry,” he said.
