Sponsored by Glo Mobile, “Dance With Peter” is a 13-week dancing competition in partnership with Peter who make up P-Square with his twin brother, Paul Okoye.

The show, which is taking participants from Ghana and Nigeria, is set to bring a whole new dimension and passion to dancing with exciting display of talents in dance and choreography.

An audition event at the National Theatre in Accra on September 1 will have Peter Okoye himself as a judge/mentor alongside dance queen, Kaffy, and Nigerian hip hop dance choreographer, Flex.

The competition is open to individuals from different dance backgrounds, be it solo, duet or group. From the Accra auditions, six dancers or groups will be selected to join other qualifiers from Nigeria in a competition phase in Lagos for weeks of serious grilling and weekly evictions.

According to Peter Okoye, “This show is going to revolutionise the way our people see dance. We believe that dance has the power to bring out the best of passion for some young individuals out there who crave an opportunity to excel and be famous,” he said.

The top prize winner will go home with the sum of GH¢45, 000, a brand new Toyota RAV4 and an opportunity to feature in P-Square’s next music video.

The first runner-up goes home with GH¢30,000 and a brand new Honda Civc car while the second runner-up will receive the sum of GH¢15,000 and a brand new Kia Rio car.
