THE fifth anniversary of Rolly Panda’s Trip to Volta concert lit up Tanyigbe in the Ho Central constituency as music lovers gathered to celebrate one of Volta Region’s biggest entertainment events.

In addition to the music and excitement, this year’s edition carried a strong social message. Rolly Panda, Afrobeats act turned the spotlight on the fight against drug abuse, a cause he says deserves more attention, especially among the youth.

Held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, the concert featured a vibrant lineup of Volta’s top performers including Kpese Boi, Keeny Ice, Jah Phinga, JJ Gonami, and Deal who treated patrons a fun-filled moment.

And when Rolly Panda mounted the stage, the crowd roared with excitement. He didn’t disappoint them as he performed his hit songs Basabasa, Domedo, Abinandi and Beyond Kontrol with high energy and passion.

Under the theme “Drug Abuse and Its Coincidence,” the 2025 edition brought together stakeholders from the health sector to educate young people about the dangers of substance abuse while promoting healthy lifestyle choices through music and culture.

“This concert is not just about entertainment. It’s about making an impact and giving back to Tanyigbe. I believe as artistes, our voices can help change lives.

“The issue of drug abuse is getting out of hand. I feel responsible to use my influence to spread awareness and support young people to make better choices,” Rolly Panda told Graphic Showbiz.

The event received strong backing from sponsors including Hokor Endowment Fund, Ghana Tourism Authority, Contrive, Rojville, and Asthma Ghana — all of whom he expressed gratitude to for their continued support of youth development, culture and the arts.

Since its inception, Rolly Panda Trip to Volta concert has evolved into one of the most anticipated events on the region’s entertainment calendar.

it has also become a powerful tool for community engagement and social advocacy.

“This is just the beginning. If music can unite people, then it can also heal society. That’s what I want this concert to stand for,” he noted
