The officials are Kofi Amoakohene (Chief Executive Office), Paa Kwesi Holbrook-Smith (Associate Executive Director) and Michael Bamfo (General Manager, Scratch Universal).

WOMEX is one of the most important international professional markets for music of every kind. It integrates a trade fair, showcases, conferences, film screenings, networking sessions and awards.

Musicians and their labels also have the possibility to make contacts for international touring and album distribution.

Scratch is a one-stop music outfit based at East Legon in Accra.  Amoakohene says apart from aggressively marketing music by artistes on its label, the company would also make its ScratchiGroove digital music shop better known to the international market.

ScratchiGroove currently stocks all music recorded for the Scratch label by a variety of  Ghanaian artistes; all of popular Afro-rock band, Osibisa’s material and songs by a select crop of musicians from across Africa.

Artistes on the Scratch recording label include Steve Bedi, Paulette Broohm, Elivava, Freeman Ame, Oswald Kouame, Owura K and Eugene Hus.
