Then on Sunday, Mother’s Day, the Miss Tourism Ghana Team —Miss Tourism Ghana 2014, Naa Teidey Ofori and Miss Tourism Ghana Greater Accra Representative, Betty Osei Boateng — went with the Starr FM Team to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Maternity Ward.

They congratulated the new mothers and donated items from Ghandour Cosmetics, such as baby powder, baby lotions et., with support from Metropolitan Insurance and Alldens Lane.

“Mothers are all we have.  We can’t do anything without them.  We wouldn’t even be in the world today if not for them.  So we must learn to cherish and love them the way they deserve.  We can’t thank them enough but this is what we can also do to make them happy”, echoed Naa Teidey.

The nurses at the ward thanked the two teams for their wonderful gesture towards the mothers in the ward.
