"You can’t break me" – Shatta Michy tells AMA
Shatta Wale’s wife, Shatta Michy says she is unperturbed by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly’s (AMA) plan to demolish her pub at East Legon in Accra.
According to her, the attempt by the AMA to pull down her pub was a major contributor to joblessness in Ghana.

The AMA last Thursday issued a one-week ultimatum to pull down her structure after it emerged that her pub, along with other structures were lying within the East Legon Green Belt zone.

The task force had earlier demolished some unauthorized structures and walls in the area.
It, however, had to spend several hours trying to demolish the facility following pleas from Madam Michy and some residents not to demolish her facility.
But in a Facebook post, Shatta Michy wrote: “It’s only in Ghana that a young lady would try to do something for herself, encourage other young ladies to do same no matter how small and she ends up being fought from all angles. Stronger forever.”
“I’m 24, I have my businesses, my education, my wonderful family, and I’m grinding still, there’s money to be made on these streets and nothing will stop me and my fellow young ladies who are willing to make it out here. You can’t break me. Try something else,” she stated.
