Kwame OB Nartey announces exit from Vision 1 FM
The host of morning show Live Worship on Vision 1 FM, Kwame OB Nartey has announced his resignation from the station after more than a decade of working at the media house.
In a press statement he issued on his social media pages in which he revealed that he was moving to Number One FM owned by Class Media as its Channel Manager, OB Nartey described his time at Vision 1 as "journey of mixed reactions."
“There’s a time to take decisions, be brave and take risks. Having faith in yourself that with God all things are possible. I have added my quota to see the brand grow with so much joy amidst the challenges as the famous award winning Live Worship morning show host. It’s been a long journey of mixed reactions but we move,” the statement said.
He also used the opportunity to thank his former employers and individuals who have supported him all these years. “Ladies and gentlemen, I want to take this opportunity to thank every individual who has in one way or the other supported me on this journey. Most especially, the owners of this frequency, Professor Joshua and Goski Alabi and Dr Kwame Kyei Baffour,” he said.

Kwame OB Nartey said he was confident he will deliver at Number One FM by virtue of experience and determination adding, “You gain strength, courage and confidence in which you step to look fear in the face and say I was born for this."
Until his resignation, OB was the Programmes Director for Vision 1.
Journey
Kwame OB Nartey's journalism journey started in 2008 when he volunteered as an election reporter for then Choice FM. The experience encouraged him to go fully into media after his National Service in 2009.

He started working with the then Pravda Radio as the Drive Time host and was maintained when the ownership of the radio station changed in 2014 and was renamed into Vision 1 FM.
He later became the host of the morning show and has since won many awards such as Live Worship Host of the Year at last year’s Foklex Media Awards.
