The APC Youth Network West Africa has conferred the title of Life Patron on the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, in recognition of his contribution to public service and youth development across the region.
The honour was presented during a courtesy call on Mr Ayinde at the Watercress Hotel & Suites in Ikeja, Lagos, by the leadership of the organisation, formerly known as the APC Youth Wing West Africa.
The visit, described by the group as part of efforts to deepen youth engagement and strengthen strategic partnerships, aligns with its broader objectives under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Presenting the citation, the delegation noted that the conferment reflects appreciation for Mr Ayinde’s “exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to public service, and continued support for youth development initiatives.”

In his response, Mr Ayinde accepted the honour and expressed gratitude to the group for the recognition. He pledged his continued support for youth-focused initiatives and commended the organisation for its role in mobilising young people, promoting leadership development and advancing regional integration in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Also present at the ceremony was Mr Lekan Abubakar.
