Show interest in extra-curricular activities
The Headmistress of Starward School, Mrs Linda Adadevor, has advised all schoolchildren to actively participate in extra-curricular activities to help widen their experiences as they grow up.

She asked children to take part in club activities like Physical Education, Cadet Corps, the Brassband Group, Drama and Cultural groups, the Civic Education, Maths and Science, Spelling and Sign Language clubs to widen their horizon.
According to her, all these activities helped children to develop physically and psychologically and also build their confidence, as well as prepare them to fit into society very well.
She added that apart from academic work, children should explore new things, be imaginative and creative in all that they did.
She, therefore, urged parents and teachers to make sure that children took part in at least one extra-curricular activity while at school.
