St Francis Xavier School elects NCCE executive
The newly elected executive members of the Civic Education Club of the St Francis Xavier Basic School at Kotobabi, in Accra have been advised to lead by example.
The Assistant Civic Education Officer from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Accra Metro Office, Mr Siddique Zagoon who was speaking at the inauguration of the club also urged the members of the club never to shy away from taking up leadership positions while at school.
He said it was important that students considered those positions as stepping stones to similar ones later as adults.
Miss Mensah, in her acceptance speech, promised to work hand-in-hand with the others to leave a legacy for others.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs Augustina Kuti, admonished the executive to be disciplined and urged each member to work with all students and other clubs in the school to raise the banner of the school high.
