Stay out of trouble during Xmas
The Ghana Police Service has advised the youth to stay out of trouble during the Yuletide.

The Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Cephas Arthur, who gave the advice said it was important for the youth to be wary of people who would lure them into committing petty crimes during the season.
He said although Christmas was a time for merry-making, the youth should avoid drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking.
“Girls, especially should be careful of what they drink when they go out and should not leave their drinks unattended since someone might put something in the drink to open them up to attack or abuse,” he said.
DSP Arthur further advised the youth not to stay out late at night, avoid dark and isolated places and move in groups so that they are not prone to attacks.
Another important safety measure, DSP Arthur pointed out was for the youth to stay away from fracas or places where there were fights so that they would not be caught in the melee. That, he said, would prevent them from being arrested together with offenders of the law.
He reminded the youth that the ban on the use of fire crackers was still in place and anybody caught selling, buying or using it would be dealt with by the law.
Children
DSP Arthur also called on parents and guardians to show a lot of concern and provide care for their wards, adding that the service had recorded a few instances of kidnapping of children recently.
“Keep an eye on the children on a day-to- day basis not only during this season, whether at home, church, or party. Don’t let them stray,” he cautioned.
